Global pop group HORI7ON has released an new version of the iconic 1978 hit by the Boyfriends titled “Sumayaw Sumunod” with new lyrics written by HORI7ON’s member Marcus Cabais.
In a media conference held earlier today, the group not only explored different roles in their positions, but also added color and flavor to the song.
They also announced a possibility of a world tour, but it is still in the works according to Marcus.
“Our goal is to represent Filipino talent not just in South Korea but globally.” Vinci said.
This new version will also be performed in Korean music shows, which will also be the first KPOP song to have Filipino lyrics involved, thus solidifying its status as a global pop group.
