“Un/Happy for You,” the much-anticipated reunion movie of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, has earned P200 million in gross ticket sales as of August 22.
Directed by Petersen Vargas, “Un/Happy for You” has captivated audiences nationwide, becoming the highest-grossing local film of the year with an impressive P200 million in ticket sales just two weeks after its release.
Co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films, the movie opened with a strong initial gross of P20.5 million and is currently showing in over 350 cinemas across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The film, which tells the story of ex-lovers Chef Juancho (Joshua) and Zy (Julia) rekindling their romance, is set to expand its reach globally this August, with screenings scheduled in the USA, Canada, Australia, and several other countries.
Supporting cast members include Nonie Buencamino, Ketchup Eusebio, and Kaila Estrada, adding depth to the film’s emotional narrative.
