Nameless Kids’ “Gabi” Takes Spotify by Storm

Nameless Kids, the rising indie-pop band, has made waves with their newest single “Gabi,” which has quickly become their fastest-growing track. Written by Nhiko Sabiniano and Kim Allen, “Gabi” is a heartfelt confession of unreciprocated feelings, capturing the emotions of a love that longs for a memorable night.

The song has earned the band the cover of Spotify’s Pinoy Indie Mix and secured a spot on several editorial playlists, including OPM Rising and Viral Hits Philippines, peaking at no. 21 on Spotify Philippines Viral chart.

The music video for “Gabi,” directed by John Manalo and creatively overseen by Karen Dela Fuente, features band members Nhiko, Kim, Tati de Mesa, and Patricia Reyes. It artistically portrays the tension between the delusions of a perfect relationship and the harsh realities of love.

This release follows their successful single “Still So In Love,” which became a soundtrack for the primetime series “High Street” and peaked at no. 4 on TikTok’s trending hashtags. Last year, Nameless Kids released their first Tagalog track “Sayo (Ang Mundo)” and their debut album “Manila In Bloom,” which includes hits like “Hotel Runs” and “Lonely.”

The band has also received accolades, including the Best Performance for a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards for their debut single “Outlaws.”

Their growing prominence in the music scene was highlighted when they headlined the MYX Music Awards alongside international acts like LANY and Korean artists Suho and Seori.

Fans can catch the exclusive preview of the “Gabi” music video at the “Atin Ang Gabing Ito” (This is Our Night) launch party this Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Astbury, Makati. Tickets are available from P350 to P500.
